Soliciting Feedback

Jun 01 2012 Published by under Q&A

I am now at the end of the second week of my courses at Quinnipiac University, and I feel like I have already learned a lot.  This post is a reach out to you, and a request for what you think so far.

As you can see from the posts over the last two weeks, I have learned a lot about the history of interactive media, about the importance of social media in our lives today, and about how to make good design.

I have also finished reading the textbook for my Visual Design class.  This book was filled with a lot of great information that I was able to immediately apply to my assignments and to my work.  I highly recommend it.  It is an easy and engaging read, and definitely doesn’t read like a textbook.

As I come to the conclusion of my second week of school, I turn to you to ask what you think of my blog so far.  Are you learning from it?  What is the most beneficial to you?  What are you not liking about the blog?  What are your suggestions for the future?  What can I do to make the blog more engaging for you?  What can I do to get more interactive content on the blog?

I am not a fan of soliciting benchmark rewards for signing up for the blog, or commenting.  I believe that this leads to inflated numbers, and doesn’t give an accurate count of people actually interested.  I would rather have a few people that engage regularly than to have a large number of people with only one or two regular people visiting.  What would you do?
